There is a certain kind of voice I really really like. I like deeper voices. I always wanted to sing like Patsy Cline and like some of the 60's girl groups (yes I'm sure you all are well aware of my obsession with girl groups of the 60's).
SO here are some songs... my kids fell asleep to Crazy, Sweet Dreams, I Fall to Pieces and Walkin' After Midnight for the first year of their lives. Those songs worked like a charm...
The next songs, I just really really like the growls and grittiness of some of He's Got The Power by The Exciters. And I love the low part on Don't Say Nothin' (Bad about my Baby) by The Cookies. So these are the people I would love to sing like.
